More often than not Adele is singing about a previous relationship gone wrong in her songs this allows her to be widely relatable as nearly everyone knows what it's like to have their heart broken.
Her songs often have a message of still being strong after a break up which attracts an audience of young girls and women as this can be seen as inspirational for those who are currently dealing with the saddness of a breakup, because of this her target audience is quite large ranging in ages from roughly 16-50.
Her image isn's over sexualised and perfers to keerp her music videos simple - instead she lets her music do the talking.
